This hurricane has got me stuck in New York City.

I’m not complaining, though, because I am healthy and alive and well.

Albeit, still stuck in New York City.

So I could not go home to celebrate my pop’s birthday, as planned.

At least, not in the conventional way.

Enter: facetime.

I sat on that phone for 40 minutes, or so, joining in on the fun.

And trying to understand what people were saying, cause sometimes the reception wasn’t the clearest thing in the world.

Still, it was a good time.

See?

Can’t wait to see them for real, though!
