Thanks to my friend Christian, I can put these songs down here.

Something about him being a magician and shrinking the size of the files down from hundreds of megabytes to not nearly as many and me being next to him saying thank you and probably even clapping my hands together.

And now the first song was written by Dominic DiTanna. You should go check him out on facebook or myspace or youtube or anywhere musicians tend to hang out on the internet cause he’s really good. And he was kind enough to let me sing this dreamy song with him.

I am not gonna lie, I’ve listened to it a lot today.

It makes me smile.

And then the second song is a collaboration I did a long time ago; I wrote the melody and the lyrics.

Enjoy and thanks so much for listening.

as long as you are here with me

i could be the girl

Sounds really fantastic, both of them. I really like the way your voice sounds in the duet too, it’s great.

It’s strange, the words “Dominic DiTanna” look like “Darby DiNatale” at first glance.

I have only listened to the first song and it is GREAT!! Jess sounds soo good! I am excited to hear the second song.

The first song reminds me of a happy sounding version of a band I used to love called “The Beautiful South.”

JAson – “used to love” – come on! :) And Jess – that’s right, I am a magician. It’s a little known talent of mine. Thanks for blasting it out to the world ;)

Oh I still love them but I don’t think they’re around anymore… at least…yes I just checked, they broke up in 2007. Makes me sad.

  9. jason January 11, 2010

And Christian, did you use a fancy plugin to put these songs in the post? It looks different than other songs, and I like it.

    • jessica January 11, 2010

yeah, I am not sure how Christian did this…He just said he was some kind of wordpress pro and went to it!
